Naim NAC42 XO pre / active crossover and SNAPS from Krescendo HifiClick images to enlargeDescriptionHere for sale is a stunning very rare Naim NAC42 XO preamplifier with built in active crossover for Linn Sara or Kan speakers. It is also supplied with SNAPS power supply and Naim interconnects. It is in excellent condition. This is one of the world’s best preamps. The NAC42 XO two line level inputs (for a CD player, Tuner and TV say) and a single input for a mocing coil cartridge on a turntable. There are two filtered outputs to connect to the SNAPS and then on to two separate stereo power amplifiers (the power amplfiers are not included in the sale).
This is a device that was rarely made by Naim. Far more common was for the active crossover to be inside the NAXO case. This system, however, makes for a very neat and compact system with very short signal paths within the pre-amplifier and using only a single SNAPS.Please click on the pictures to see much larger views of the condition for yourself.We will ship very carefully in a custom made double walled cardboard box with high impact Stratocell packing all round.
