Hi, happy new year. After a period of reflection, Ive decided to sell my Naim CD5The unit is in very good overall condition, as I am pretty fastidious with hifi! From a pet and smoke free home if that makes a difference. Clear of marks scratches on the outside, save one small knock in the underside of the unit, which is obviously not visible when in use. Hadnt noticed until today! I have listed this as used as the listing doesnt give the option of repair as over the last year or so of general/light domestic use, some cds have started to catch on the transport. In the pictures you will see some light witnessing on the plastic of the transport, which I have left on so you can see what I mean. Im not an electronics expert by any means, so have limited confidence in investigating. CDs still play, but with a catching sound, and is also variable with he quality of Cd (CDrs dont seem to do it as much as quality factory discs). Thought it better to release this to someone who knows what theyre doing as this is being used less and less. This CD playing is working and does play cds, but its not quite right given the above. Comes with original packaging as shown. Serial shown in photo of box.
