This is a luxury amp weighing in over 22 Kg and made to a fantastic stand and stunning detail and design.
A Very very powerful amplified at over 300 TRUE watts and actually the most powerful amp I have ever owned and I have had a few. Master grip….master authority and a balanced sound signature.
Four line inputs are provided, along with a tape loop and a very good phono stage, switchable between moving coil and moving magnet operation. A neat touch, and one not offered by too many other manufacturers, is that the ‘Aux 2’ input can be switched directly to the power amplifier, bypassing the volume control. This is extremely handy if you want to use the A308 with an offboard multichannel processor to give surround sound.
I never found this amp bright or harsh…..just wonderful…. i am having to spend 8000 on a Nu Vista 800 amp to be able to surpass the performance on offer here….
