Welcome to my auction, for sale today we have my beloved pair of Mordaunt-Short Mezzo 8 floor standing speakers, I am absolutely gutted to have to sell them due to downsizing house, these were and still are my favourite pair of speakers to have ever owned and probably will ever own. I wont go into detail about the highs mids and lows as everyones ears are unique. However I can expand on the condition, I have purchased them from new in 2013 directly from MS website there is not a single issue with these speakers and are in perfect acoustic working order there are a few blemishes on the cabinets and on the grille but you would never realise these speakers are 7 years old and have all the packaging that they came with original boxes as shown including the tweeter protector for shipping.
What hifi have an excellent review on these speakers I cannot paste the link in the advert but I encourage you to read it before bidding. The rubber feet shown in the photo can be screwed directly to the underside of the speaker or can be used on the plinths as shown. Regarding amplifier power my Pioneer AV receiver was giving each speaker 150w RMS and can confirm these sounded absolutely incredible however prior to this I had them running on a Cambridge audio 2 Chanell amplifier giving out 60w per chanell and was still excellent ! These speakers are very rare and difficult to find so I hope someone has been looking for these speakers and has finally found them and can look after and enjoy them for many years to come !
