Soughtafter home cinema system approved by Lucas Films THX – Mordaunt Short 500 DeclarationSeries Select THX Home Cinema System 7.2. The sound from this configurationis absolutely amazing and I am only selling because I have to move and will nothave the space.
Both front speakers each have built in 150w amplifiers which power the 2 x10″ subwoofers. Coaxial inputs are provided on the rear and are integratedinto the THX profiles.
These are used but in excellent condition and come complete with all theoriginal packaging / boxes and shipping sleeves. MS Spiked feet are providedfor the Front floor standing speakers
Thesystem comprises of 7 Speakers plus the two integrated Subwoofers (7.2)
Front pair MS 502 each with powered 150W RMS Subwoofers with spikedfeet. Centre MS 504 centre channel 3 way Surround and Rearr (two matched pairs) of MS 506 Dipole speakers Thesespeakers were originally configured with my Pioneer VSA-AX10 and currently withmy Pioneer SC LX83. Both configurations sounded absolutely amazing. The MS502’sintegral Subwoofers are astonishing – providing house shaking bass. When pairedwith a THX amplifier and DTS or similar source, movies really are absolutely breath taking.

Each left and right speaker features one 1″ aluminium diaphragm tweeterand two 5″ CPC mid/bass units. Low frequencies are delivered via apowerful 10″ bass unit which is housed within its own sub enclosure and isserved by a discreet 150W power amplifier. The amplifier features adjustablevolume control, 2 crossover positions (internal and external), as well as asingle band Parametric EQ for best possible bass performance. The inclusion ofa phase reverse switch also allows for better system integration.
