Monitor Audio Silver RS6 Floorstanding Speakers in Rosenut Wood, with boxes. Condition is Used.
Ive owned these from new (bought from Vickers Hi-Fi in York) and they are in amazing condition for a 13 year-old set of speakers. There are virtually no marks on the wood veneer – I would describe the cabinets as near-Mint and I doubt youll see better on used speakers anywhere.
The plinths are in excellent condition. All bolts are included, all 8 feet are included.
There is a tiny mark on one of the drivers – this is shown in the photos. There is another tiny tiny mark on another driver on the other speaker but it is so slight I couldnt get the camera to pick it up. The marks have no affect on the sound. I have always used these speakers with the covers on so no idea how the marks appeared.
There are no spikes – MA failed to include these when I bought them – and there are only three HF-LF bridge connectors (there should be four) but you can easily bridge the missing one with a wire or readily available 3rd party connector. If you are bi-wiring or bi-amping (recommended) these are irrelevant anyway.I have always run these speakers bi-amped (hence one of the missing bridges) and they sound stunning.
These are collection only from York as they weight about 18kg each. I will not consider posting them so please do not ask. I could deliver them up to about 30mins from York (ie Leeds/Harrogate area). I can provide more photos if requested.
They are now boxed up so if you require a demo on collection Id happily facilitate that but Id recommend you bring your own amp/cables as I dont have space to set them up again with my own amps.
