An exceptionally rare opportunity to purchase an LT-10V vertical record player, I personally serviced this and it was working fine, but after coming out of storage from last year I have found it now has an intermittent fault where the tone arm will carry on to the centre as if no record has been placed on the table. Reading around it seems as though it is a simple case of replacing some of the bulbs that are used for sensor functions but I do not have the time to look into this so will sadly have to pass it on in its current condition. When it does recognise the record being there it plays perfectly so there are no tone/mechanical etc issues. Simply some kind of detection/electrical fault.
Very few of these have survived and production volume was low to begin with, the successor to the massively successful and iconic LT-5V, the 10V has a more compact design that allows it to fit on most bookshelves and makes it ideally for those short on space, or who just want the novelty factor.
The case has some minor scratches and there is one small crack on the lower half of the outside case, I have done my best to picture this. The machine plays flawlessly and despite its unique setup can be equipped with any standard cartridge allowing easy upgrade, although the one installed has hundreds of hours of life left in it and personally would not change out as sounds great.
So grab yourself a piece of audio history with this fantastic turntable.
