Short technical description.
The PM 6010 amplifier was developed by Marantz at the of 90es and is one of the best example of that generation. The amplifier is built according to the classic Marantz 3-amplification-stage topology with bipolar, not FET output transistors as it was in fashion at that times. Now many experienced audiophiles prefer bipolar transistors for their more warm and realistic sound which is the native feature of the Marantz PM66
The amplifier is certainly the perfect choice for a good quality audio system when budget does matter. The output power of well above 50 true RMS Watts on 8 Ohms load is pretty enough for home audio system and corresponds to about 90 W per channel into 4 Ohms measured by popular today IHF method.
This amplifier undergone upgrade in order to achive the best audio performenc for this model.What exactly done
1. Old overheated resistors in control circuit known and the main trouble maker in this model are can be replaced with extra power rating very reliable equivalents, voltage regulators accurately resoldered, idle currents adjusted according to Service Manual.
2. Main reservoir capacitors are replaced with their new Rubycon audio grade analogs and bypassed by polypropylene ones. All the above is very well known improvements for this model proven to be very effective for sonic improvements and restoration of long term reliability
3. decoupling and interstage capacitors replaced with better grade new ones

Sound Quality
The amplifier provides transparent and lively sound, has no difficulties to work with any acoustics. Distortion level is very low, you can listen to your source as it is and to a record as it was made by the musicians and record engineers. Sound is powerful and deep.

In this case 100% of auction price and shipment cost will be refunded. Return of nonworking, damaged or scratched item is not accepted and will be not refunded.
