Marantz PM 25 Integrated amplifier in very rare champagne gold finish fascia and black case. Made in Japan. In perfect working order on all inputs. All the switches and knobs operate smoothly with no problems. This is a good example of the Marantz sound from this early eighties era when they manufactured some of the best value for money Hi Fi available. This is a very fine sounding small amplifier and will drive most small modern loudspeakers with ease. It has four inputs and one of them is a moving magnet phono stage.The phono stage on this model is particularly fine and will work with all modern moving magnet cartridges. You can use a CD player in the aux input and it has a tape input too. In very good condition cosmetically with only very light signs of use. It has some light scratches above the on/off switch and one very small mark above the model number (see pics) all clearly shown. None of these are noticeable from more than a metre away as the gold finish tends to hide small marks very well. There is a small patch of white paint on the left hand side (see pics) but this may come off as it is not gloss and a very thin layer. This a neat little amplifier and is the standard 41 cm W and 31 cm D but is only 8 cm H. Getting rare now on he used market and these gold finish models are particularly rare. Superb value at this price, you would need to spend 300 to get any amplifier new that sounds as good. Will be well packed for postage.
