Quality sound from a class-leader

Fully-fledged streamer with Wi-Fi
The Marantz MCR610 Melody Media is equipped with AirPlay. If you’ve an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad then AirPlay wireless connectivity is guaranteed. Alternatively, if you use a PC, Mac or laptop with iTunes and home Wi-Fi hub connectivity, then you’ll also be able to stream music from this, too. Alternatively, connect up to your home network and enjoy internet radio – giving the choice of thousands of radio stations from around the world.
Spotify and DNLA certification
There’s also support for music streaming services Spotify and last.fm. Thanks to DLNA certification, you can also stream music from your PC or NAS (Network Attached Storage) system, allowing the Marantz to control and playback your whole library of music. All this can be done by using either the Ethernet port or the built-in Wi-Fi.
CD and DAB radio
Marantz makes some of the best CD players, so it’s little surprise to find the MCR610 comes equipped with a superior deck. Furthermore, it will also play MP3 and WMA music files. A choice of DAB and FM gives you access to a wide range of local and national stations and there’s RDS on the FM tuner.
Plenty of connections and digital input
The optical digital input is ideal for connecting up your Freeview TV, but also useful for other digital sources. The digital input could also give your other components a boost in sound quality as you’ll be using the quality DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) in the Marantz rather than the source. There are also USB sockets both front and rear. The front is Apple iOS compatible and will charge your device, too. Two analogue inputs and a single output complete the connection options.
Designed for quality speakers
The Marantz Melody Media comes with two sets of, switchable speaker outlets. Should you fancy more bass, then an active subwoofer can easily by connected by the RCA sub output. A headphone socket is conveniently located at the front.

With a choice of all-black or a unique black and white combo, the MCR610 stands out from the crowd. The gloss finish and curved edges give it a robust feel and for a minimalist appearance, Marantz has limited the button count to a minimum. You can control the Melody Media via the supplied remote control or by an application for your Smartphone – Apple or Android.
