At last my pride and joy has stopped working. I have made some great recordings with this kit.

The take up spindle is not longer working properly. It looks to me as though the belt that drives the counter has broken and is now fouling  the ttansport that works the take up spool of the cassette.

There has been for years the end of a jack plug stuck in the headphone socket (came off the end of a plug that I’d inserted without noticing the problem with it).

Everything else works, but of course, with the falty tape drive it’s useless.

I attempted to look inside with the intention of simply removing the faulty belt, at least, but this is beyond my ability and t that it why some of the screw heads look as if they have been used – which is true.

Comes with carrying case and strap, plus a downloaded user manual.
