However… anyone who knows classic Hi-Fi CD players will be aware of this renowned model. See the incredible review below from What Hi-Fi 2018.

…The KI refers to the companys technical guru, Ken Ishiwata, and the CD-63 MkII KI Signature was pretty much the player he would make for himself. The great thing for Marantz was that everyone else loved it too.
….In 1996, we were so impressed by the KI that we thought a traditional First Test wasnt enough. Instead we gave the product its own spread in the magazine. We didnt hold back in the review either, using words like awesome, phenomenal and barnstormer, equating large parts of the players performance to the very best available. Its fair to say we liked it a lot.”

Alas some fuse or something else has blown that I don’t know how to fix meaning It doesn’t work as is. But to anyone who knows how to open up and fix this sort of CD player it will be a steal.
