Marantz Audio/Video PM673 Master Amplifier ***RARE***. Condition is Used. Dispatched with eBay delivery Shutl 1 day.
This Master amplifier was originally designed as the centre of an Audio Video system and can switch through the many inputs provided. It has STERO – MATRIX – SPATIAL and DOLBY SURROUND Sound functionality. It has inputs for PHONO, CD, TV, 2 x VCR ALL USING COMPOSITE VIDEO. Two SCART Connections for inputs and outputs. It has TWO Front Speaker connectors which can be switched individually and one set of rear speakers connectors. I have tested the front speakers but do not have any DOLBY Surround source to test the rear speakers so I cannot guarantee they are working. There are SYSTEM CONTROL connectors for other MARANTZ products like a TUNER and TAPE DECK.
In all it’s a complex switching device and very good quality amplifier which I used with all my kit at the time has been in storage since I moved 20 years ago and never got round to using it again. It comes with the original MARANTZ remote control unit which is working. It was originally built in 1989 and there are many reviews and manuals available via a Google search. I bought this unit when new. It has not been repaired or modified. It is as you see it here in these photos taken on my bench. I am a retired engineer and need the space now. Sorry, but I will not ship outside of the UK.
Be warned it is VERY HEAVY! 8.8Kg. Unit size is 360mm (W) x 310mm (D) x 130mm (H).
