HOWEVER!!! there is a glitch which means that sound only generated on a function when that function is set at power on. i.e. if the function is set to CD when you turn on, the CD plays and sound is produced. If you then try to change to DAB or Bluetooth, no sound is produced unless you then turn the device off and back on again.
