Serial No: 077311 (Research suggests this dates the machine from 1987, when the Valhalla PSU was still included).
The turntable is in very good cosmetic condition, with just a couple of surface marks/scratches here and there. The lid is in good condition, with some surface scratches and a small bleb in the top right hand corner, and a small crack at the back near the left hand hinge. The lid does its job as a dust cover, but the springs have gone in the hinges, so it will not stay open on its own (the hinges are readily available on the internet, and are inexpensive.) The turntable works perfectly, looks and sounds fantastic! The stylus looks and sounds fine, but I cannot predict its lifespan, but replacements are readily available. Overall, it’s a solid, good looking, fully working, classic turntable which runs smoothly and silently, delivering a great performance.
N.B. I also have a pair of Linn Nexus speakers for sale, and will be listing a Linn LK1 pre-amp and a 280 power amp (with remote) in the next day or two – keep an eye on my other items!
