The KNEKT Roomamp combines the functions ofa KNEKT Line Receiver and a high quality 25W stereopower amplifier in one compact double-height style case.It is specifically designed to allow the installer to meettight budget requirements without compromisingsound quality and to enable a complete Linn customsolution that can be guaranteed to deliver superior,pitch accurate performance.Source and control signals are distributed via a KNEKTLine Driver or INTERSEKT matrix switching unit in themain system. A Roomamp receives this informationin the remote room, transmits the control signal toa Room Controller Unit (RCU) and provides pitchaccurate audio to loudspeakers. A Roomamp eliminatesthe requirement for a separate stand-alone LineReceiver and power amplifier, enabling discreet, spacesaving installation. Only the RCU needs to be accessibleto control the system.The Roomamp is versatile and flexible: up to 3 localaudio sources such as Satellite, VCR and personalCD player can be added in the remote room. A tapeoutput permits source programme recording whilstconnections for external power amplification meansthat it can be upgraded for rooms that require higherpowered specification.Full IR control of Linn and non- Linn equipment inboth main and local systems is also available throughthe KNEKT Roomamp and RCU.
