Linn Numerik DAC S/No 005105.
Immaculate and full working order. One owner who used infrequently as his main source of listening is his Linn LP12.
What makes this particular Numerik DAC special:
The owner is VERY fussy and even cut 4 beautiful neat squares of a rubber felt material in order that the normal feet didn’t mark the surface it was resting on. It really is a credit to his meticulous and proud ownership.
It has the late “Slimline “SMPS power supply. This is reliable and musically outperforms the earlier and unfortunately unreliable “Brilliant” power supply. (Both are musically superior to the early transformer power supply).
This also has the later and superior DAC chips.
It will come with a UK IEC mains plug. and a pair of Linn “black” audio interconnects to connect to an amplifier.
The Numerik was groundbreaking and very expensive and is still considered to offer exceptional musical performance. It has a place for modern users not connected with it’s original purpose which was to be used with a Linn Karik CD player.
