The Akito really is a superb arm, delivering very high quality sound and performance for its price point.
Horizontal and lateral bearings have been checked over and work very well with good movement on both planes.
Armtube is straight and true, as is arm pillar, counterweight stub, and phono input pins.
Arm lift operates smoothly, bias settings work as they should, and the arm rest assembly isn`t damaged or cracked (as so many are).
Cables to the cartridge were replaced for new a couple of years ago. The Linn K9 itself is working to full factory spec on all coils and is in Ex physical condition. Cantilever is straight with great suspension, and there`s at least 50% life left on the diamond.
