LEAK STEREOFETIC FM TUNER
Supplied in original Leak teak veneered case.
Excellent specialist FM tuner. Leak’s transistor replacement for the valve Troughline. Less celebrated than the model it replaced but still a very good tuner. Matches the Stereo 30 Plus or Stereo 70 amplifiers.
Excellent signal grabber with precise tuning even from ordinary dipole aerial. Really sings with a high quality roof aerial, giving great depth of soundstage and detail, especially on uncompressed stations like BBC R3 and R4. Slightly rich tone which suits speech radio, but deals with rock music well too.
Working order, including all buttons, features and displays.
Fascia and case are virtually unmarked, except for some light variations in colour.
Features mono/stereo switching, manual tuning. 75Ohm coaxial aerial input and stereo RCA/phono outputs.
Nice looking analogue display- bright, complete and clear with signal meter. all working.
Well worth investing in a great FM tuner while FM still exists- when properly set up, it knocks spots off 192kp/s DAB quality (in my honest opinion).
