KEF CANTOR II SPEAKERS *CLASSIC BRITISH SPEAKERS *BEAUTIFUL CONDITION SEE ALL PHOTOS.Harking back to the days of glorious CLASSIC HiFi,these retro cool KEF Cantor speakers are in excellent condition. They werealways very well cared for and as indicated by the photos, from every angle arein very good condition. The drivers and cabinets are still exceptionally smart. What matters more than anything though, is how they perform. Ours were used viaa classic, vintage, silver-faced Marantz 1050 integrated amplifier, using aTechnics SL-1700 turntable as a source, and a MARANTZ audio streamer as a complementarypiece. Sound reproduction is just ‘mellifluous’. The speakers stood atop a pair ofstands normally reserved for Rogers LS35A speakers, but might have performedeven better on a pair of very heavy sand filled Atacama speaker stands. Theheavy CableTalk 3 speaker cable and Chord interconnects might have helped a little,but these speakers produce sound so good, that friends with much more expensivesystems were actually in envy. These would make an exceptional addition to a classic soundsystem, but also did quite well when tried with new Icon valve amplifiers as well. Pleasesee all photos.
