JVCs Super A is defined as offering the distortion-free sound of a class-A amp, and the efficiency of a class-B ampVery good tuner and it all looks brilliant at night. Finally, theres no plastic here – its an all-aluminium faceplate.This is a brilliant classic JVC Receiver/Amplifier. It is an all Solid Aluminium front with Turned Aluminium switches andcontrol knob. For those who enjoy ‘finer’ sound tuning, this unit also includes a fiveband graphic equalizer – much more efficient when built in like this (a laMarantz 750 DC). For the vinyl enthusiast, this machine includes a very good *Phono Pre-Amplifier. Overall condition of the unit is excellent. All display lightswere replaced at service about 24 months ago. Here, the machine was mainlylinked to a Philips GA-312 turntable and alternately to a Thorens TD 160 viaCelestion DL8 speakers. The machine sounded absolutely brilliant. Of interestmight be that it was near permanently also connected to a laptop computer forDAB/ internet radio. This is a very attractive machine in very good used condition.There are some very fine marks on the front face, but nothing significant ornoticeable. Please see all photos.
