Stunning KT88-based valve power amplifier, hand-built to the highest standards. Can’t tell you how much use the tubes had before I got them a couple of years ago but the amp sounds sensational.
The interior pic was taken prior to a few capacitor replacements. Took the precaution of changing the ageing small value electrolytics (RS 150uf/100v) for fresh new F+T equivalents, changed the TEAPO 330uf/200v for something better (to Kendeil or BHC, I think).
Huge amp – completely dwarfed my Rogers STA-15 (the grab-handles are there for a reason) so collection only from Bedford.
