Vintage late 1960’s Hacker AL42 add on mono push pull valve amplifier speaker unit with RCA Phono signal input socket. These were used to turn the Hacker GP 42 Gondoleer Recorder Player into a strereo reproducer (this is just a self contained mono amplifer speaker unit). Has been carefully restored as can be seen from the photos which are of the item listed. All three valves are white print British made Mullard, two ECL86 and one EZ80. The speaker is the later celestion 10″ x 6″ and sounds very good. Case is very clean with light age related marks, the controls have the original knobs in clean complete condition. These little amps have uses beyond what they were designed for, a low cost blue tooth adapter would allow streaming music from many devices or a great little guitar practice amp, feeding it from a mini mixer unit.
