FERGUSON / THORN ADD-ON STEREO AMPLIFIER FOR RECORD PLAYER (GUITAR PRACTICE)As pictured, a Ferguson add-on amplifier originally sold to accompany Ferguson mono record players to convert them into stereo by acting as the second channel.Power / Bass / Treble / Volume controls and plug lead.No connecting cable included.  This requires a miniature jack plug which was standard of the time.  I have tested it with a 3.5 mm jack lead which does work but the plug is loose as the miniature jack plug was slightly longer.  Excellent output from the transistorised amplifier.Watch a video clip on You Tube – search for bakelite ed Ferguson solid stateExcellent overall condition with just minor wear to wood veneer on sides.I am advised this can also be used as a guitar amp – please conduct your own research on that.  I can’t see why not.  It can be used as an amplifier for anything as long as the correct connecting plug is used.  I tested it with a signal from a small portable radio which you will hear in the video. If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding.UK ONLY.I have other similar record players available – please see my other items.
