This is a set of speakers from the Epos AVS 5.1 surround sound system – in this case, it’s 5.0 as the subwoofer is not included.

These have great sound and are in excellent working condition. They have been carefully looked after and overall condition is excellent, except that one of the satellite speakers has a small scratch in the paint on the top (shown on the photos).

The Epos AVS 5.1 System is the first dedicated Epos Home Theater package, designed to meet the exacting demands of the discerning listener. This elegant piano gloss black speaker package provides sound quality to match its stunning looks. Constructed of solid MDF cabinets, these sculptured cabinets are painted and polished to a high-gloss finish which is popular in many homes today.The satellite speakers are based on two new drivers from Epos. A metal dome tweeter, similar to the one used in the award-winning ELS-8 and a long throw 4 paper-pulp cone mid-bass driver mounted in a pressed steel chassis. These drivers are magnetically shielded. With two forward firing ports they are well suited to being mounted close to a front/rear wall if required. A multiple order crossover uses high-grade close-tolerance components to maintain high sound quality expected from an Epos speaker. They are voiced for Home Theater, but are equally suited to music reproduction.The center channel speaker is based on the same drive units used in the satellites. Using two mid-bass drives and one tweeter and forward firing tuning ports, it is a perfect match for this system. This center channel speaker not only delivers crisp and clear dialog, it matches the front and rear speakers perfectly for seamless tonal integration.
