My old 1962-3 Christmas present, an ElizabethanTop Ten Garrard deck record player, was hiding in the attic, its light hidden by abushel, just like mine! It was brilliant inits day, and I loved it. Trying to clean it up hasnt been beneficial for it at all,but its had a new needle, the turntable works, and it was making veryencouraging buzzing volume sounds until I broke a soldered wire to the business end needle carrier. So that needs atouch of solder and the case needs repair. Its a bargain for someone with theright skills and expertise who can sell it on for a really good price aftergiving it the right kind of TLC, especially if it is collected locally with no delivery costs.
