Dynavector Karat 19A mkII Black Limited Edition low output MC cartridge in excellent condition. Unknown hours as I am the second owner, but certainly less than 100 while I’ve owned it.
The stylus has been cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner and appears pristine through a 50x magnification loupe. Sadly I have no means of taking pictures at that magnification.
Only the cartridge is for sale, the headshell is not included.
The Karat 19A Black has the unmistakable Dynvector familiy sound: fast, dynamic and highly resolved. At 5.3g it’s a very light cartridge, so likely not best suited to higher mass arms. It might work well due to the tiny cantilever and the relatively low compliance of 14, but to avoid possible disappointment a light to medium mass arm would be preferable. For reference is sounds wonderful and mates perfectly (in terms of resonance frequency) with both my 10″ Jelco SA-750E and 9″ Micro Seiki MA-505X.
Please note the low output voltage of 0.2mV and be sure your phono stage is suitable before deciding to bid or buy. The cartridge is sold as is, except if you should find that it has been misrepresented in any way. Which you won’t.
