DUAL ELECTRONICS CS5000 Belt-Drive Audiophile Turntable in wooden veneer finish.
Only the slightest of surface blemishes. This unit was my uncle’s last used regularly in the 1970s and
I used it for a while 4 years ago. Don’t have space for it now so it has to go.
Top-of the range DUAL turntable in original condition. Fitted with standard Ortofon MM cartridge.
Everything works, perspex cover undamaged and not split around the hinges. Cover and hinges are independent
and can be removed if desired. Spare hinges being sold separately.
Simple upgrades are possible to this turntable; (1) replace standard phono connects with audiophile connects and (2) replace MM cartridge with high-output MC cartridge. Neither of these has been done. However, the sound is fine just as it is.
Supplied with separate mains lead, and already has wired-in standard phono connections and an earth (ground) lead. Jimi Hendrix record not included.
Collection preferred but can post. The unit is quite heavy so postage is relatively high.
You won’t find a better one at this price.
