Vintage Dual 601 Turntable, circa 1975. Plays fine but the auto-return function doesn’t work, hence I’m selling it as “Used” rather than “For parts not working”.
I’m told it’s a simple fix involving replacement Speuerpimpels (!) so would make a nice project for an enthusiast with the requisite knowledge and skills.
The arm is fitted with a top quality Ortofon M20E mk2 cartridge.
The veneered chassis is in excellent condition but the acrylic dust cover has a few scratches and is missing the Dual badge on top. One of the feet on the bottom has been replaced with part of an eraser which doesn’t look the best but is never seen and the unit is completely stable.
