The Shure Cartridge certainly helps, but thedepth and richness this really good idler drive machine offers, is justfabulous. Bass especially, has a solidity and impact, beyond all othertypes. Mid-range and upper frequencies are equally impressive, with theoverall impression being that of a Rich, Elegant Quality of Sound. This unit was completely stripped, serviced andre-assembled. Condition is superb. It carries minor age related surface marks somepitting on the black base plate and the lid, imported from the US,carries a small crack (stopped) at the very rear.
