The receiver is in perfect condition and good cosmetic condition.This Denon receiver has more than the average stereo receivers build quality with a massive torodial transformer, a component that can only be found in much more expensive stereo receivers and amplifiers.
This small in size receiver packs a punch in it, just add any source and good quality speakers and you are “good to go”.
I used to power a pair of Morel custom built floor standing speakers with it and was surprised to discover how good it can sound when you pair a high quality speakers to this receiver.It will not give you “concert level” volume but it was more than enough to annoy the neighbors (-:
