Item Description
The Denon DP-70M is a direct-drive turntable that was released in Japan in 1981, during the “Golden Era” of Japanese audiophile equipment. Though Denon turntables from this era do not have a mainstream following outside of Japan, amongst Japan-savvy audiophiles they have a phenomenal reputation for high-quality playback performance, with stable rotation speed, very low motor noise, and very low wow and flutter (<0.008% WRMS). The DP-70M has a very high quality of build and just looks gorgeous, with its bubinga top wood. The M version indicates manual operation.
This particular unit is in excellent condition, with some wear throughout, including some minor but not noticeable scratches (please see photos). This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation.
