*** Denon D-250 Mini Component Hi-Fi/Audio System ***
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO PREVIOUS PROBLEMS WITH ROYAL MAIL DELIVERIES WE NO LONGER USE THOSE SERVICES AND ONLY UTILISE TRACKED COURIERS, SO IF THE POSTAGE COSTS ARE AN ISSUE THEN DO NOT INITIATE A SALE OR BID.
This system served me well for many years but started to develop numerous faults. These are as follows:
CD Player – the tray appears to be stuck and does not eject
Amp – Just doesn’t switch on, could be something as simple as an internal fuse (which most amps do have) but I don’t have the tools to open it.
Tuner/Amp – Has a huge buzzing (like an earth loop). The buzzing sometimes disappears and sometimes stays. The inputs and functions all work despite the ‘buzzing’. TBH I am not sure if it is the house electrical system causing this or a problem in the unit. This was tested on another Denon Amp (which is not for sale here) but it was happening with the D250 Amp until that went dead
The tape deck is not available with this grouping
This was a superb sounding system and if someone could fix it then it could be again.
Sold as seen/described with no returns.
Collection preferred as quite heavy but would consider posting at additional cost
