Fantastic sounding Cyrus MonoX Power Amplifiers in excellent condition. Minute mark on the left hand side of one amp that I can only see with my glasses on and has not shown up when I tried to photograph it otherwise as new. These amps have been cherished and really well looked after, to-day is the first time I have opened the boxes to photograph the cables and plugs, they have not been used.

With a dynamic power of over 1,500W and a conservative rating of 150 RMS the Cyrus Mono X is a very special amp for the finest systems. The Mono X is an extremely dynamic amplifier, capable of producing enormous short-term power to drive even the most demanding of high end speaker designs. The advanced ‘Zero Feedback’ circuit design eliminates the need for global negative feedback and exhibits a distortion characteristic that reduces with output power to correspond with the sensitivity of the human ear. A digital control system protects the amplifier from extreme overload and provides intelligent temperature management for the casing.
Power amplifiers at this level of performance are more usually behemoths of iron and unnecessarily flashy styling. The Mono X is a dynamic mono amp conservatively rated at 150 Watts. However the dynamic power of the amp is capable of burst output (such as occurs in all music programmes) of over 1500 watts.
This dynamic amplifier requires a very special design to successfully provide the immense power required for a system sound as close to the original performance as possible. The power and subtlety of the Mono X combine to make it one of the world’s most able hi-fi amplifiers.
