This listing provides a rare opportunity to buy a Cyrus DAC XP Signature, in the original classic Satin Black finish.
This unit was upgraded from a DAC XP to DAC XP Signature specification by Cyrus on 4.1.2019, at a cost of 1395, as confirmed by the attached invoice (see photo). I will provide a copy of this invoice to the purchaser as part of the sale. This unit currently has a manufacturer guarantee from Cyrus until 3.1.21. However, please note that Cyrus guarantees are generally not transferable.
Overall, the unit is in very good condition with all the internal components, in effect, being just ten months old. There is a small mark on one of the rear top corners of the unit, which is shown in one of the photographs. The unit comes with a new Cyrus Signature box, new unused Cyrus Controller (the one designed for use with the Signature), Set Up Disc, new unused MC Bus and power leads, all supplied by Cyrus when the unit was upgraded.
The DAC XP Signature is an up sampling digital to analogue converter which transforms any music into the highest possible 32-bit resolution. The chassis of the DAC XP Signature is divided into two entirely separate sections an audiophile DAC and a fully balanced analogue pre amplifier. Keeping these processes completely separate means each can be given all of the power it needs on a separate circuit, avoiding any distortion or noise interference.
PLEASE NOTE: The DAC XP Signature is further enhanced by adding a Cyrus PSX-R External Power Supply, which has also been listed for sale (see other items). The PSX-R I have listed is also in Satin Black finish.
