I have a pair of the legendary Coral Flat 8 II series.
Theses were bought in Japan five years ago and used by me. They were second hand at the time of the purchase and the minor damages /rather usage marks/ visible on them are from first owner. It is from a non smoking environment. Has some age related marks on it but clean.
I have used these in my open baffle, TQWT and horn speakers and it was fantastic. I have replaced them after long listening and head to head comparison with AER drivers and been in the indoor cupboard for two years now.
I was planning to recone them with Lowther to get their full glory again but just didnt get to it.
It does work ok. It sounds as it should be. Could do with a re coming as one of the units is a bit bent but it doesnt compromise the function.
This is a rare find and a highly sought after speaker rarely up for auction.
