Cambridge Audio A5 Integrated Hifi Amplifier
This amplifier has been serviced and is in full working order. However if you are looking for something mint or anywhere near it then this one is not for you. There were at one time a great many marks to the top and side casing that were through to bare metal. These have been carefuly touched in with a suitable black matt paint. The condition now is way better and i have to say looks acceptable but with a great many marks and scratches that can be seen. Its quite likely that the picture will not show these clearly. The front fascia is in good condition.
As you would expect from Cambridge Audio the build quality and choice of components is excellent. Please note this amplifier does NOT have the phono preamp (which was optional at time of purchase) so it will need an external phono preamp if it were to be used with vintage record player.
I have included a photo of the inside of the amplifier and as you can see there are no signs of overheated/distressed components or bodged repairs. For peace of mind included is a 3 months return to base warranty. The switches and controls work well with no crackle or intermittent connections. A mains lead is included.
The amplifier has been serviced and checked over recently and given a clean bill of health by a audio service engineer who has been repairing / servicing audio equipment full time for the past 40 years. Once purchased; free technical telephone assistance would be available for this item if required. Included is a 3 months return to base Guarantee. Due to the current health situation this item is doorstep collection ONLY. This is to protect both you and me; and you would not be able to enter my premises. However the item would be demonstrated and seen/heard working from the doorstep and any technical assistance given if required re setting up at home etc. A full receipt and guarantee would also be given when this item is collected.
I am happy to accept a return on this item within 1 week of collection if any buyer finds the condition unacceptable. It would have to be returned in person and in the condition it was received. A full cash refund would be given on return. I will only accept cash on collection for this amplifier. Any payments made via Paypal would be refunded.
Item is located in South east London SE13, five minutes walk from Hithergreen over ground railway station. 15 minutes by train from London Bridge/Charing cross. If you are collection via public transport once demonstrated I would bubble wrap/pallet wrap the item for you for safe transportation.
