IN NICE LOOKING CONDITION , IT WAS A HIGH SPEC DECK IN ITS DAY AND PLAYS TAPES REALLY WELL
THE MOTOR IS STRONG AND PLAYS TAPES WELL AND FAST FORWARDS/REWINDS AS SHOULD. THE DRAW OPENS AND CLOSES SMOOTHLY ELECTRICALLY
DOLBY B + C WORKS AS DOES VARIOUS FEATURES LIKE SEARCH ETC (have only tested play function not record function)
THERE IS A PLAY BUTTON ON THE KEYBOARD AND YOU CAN PLAY WITH DRAW OPEN OR CLOSED. I THINK YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE PLAY WITH DRAW SHUT BUT THIS FUNCTION DOESNT SEEM TO WORK (just push play on keyboard then push button to close draw so its not a problem)
AS MENTIONED THERE ARE SOME BUMPS AND MARKS TO THE TOP ( I tried to show in last 2 pics ) … WHERE IT HAS SAT IN STACK. TO BE HONEST YOU WILL PROBABLY USE IN STACK AND SO WONT SEE THEM ANYWAY
I SHOULD ALSO MENTION IT HAS A 5 PIN DIN PLUG (and 3 pin electric plug)…. IT SHOULD BE 7 PIN BUT PIN 6 & 7 HAVE SNAPPED OFF. PIN 6 & 7 ONLY CARRY THE B & O REMOTE CONTROL SIGNAL SO WOULD ONLY BE AN ISSUE FOR YOU IF PLANNING TO USE REMOTE CONTROL TO OPERATE.
