Beocenter 3600 Turntable BANG OLUFSEN B&O No Stylus Cartridge, Turntable Works. Needs Refurb. Condition is Used.Jacob Jenson design 1974-1977.Ive had this Beocenter for years and years, always intended to have it refurbished because the sound is incredible and there arent many of these around now, but I just havent got round to it and its time to let go, as due to a couple of house moves its now just gathering dust and sitting idle.Im definitely not an expert, but Ive had a couple of the older B&O Beocenters and this rigged up to the speakers, even in its worn out state, just beats everything in terms of clarity and power when playing LPs. When I bought it, it had an MMC 3000 stylus cartridge, this is shown in the photos, but the needle has gone. I can use our MMC 20 S with it to demonstrate that the turntable still works and sounds great to buyer, however the weight dial is missing so will need replacing. A couple of other trim bits were missing when I bought it, but it never bothered me because I only wanted it for vinyl, theres a tape button cover missing and I think one of the transparent pieces of plastic for the radio dial has gone. The dark plastic casing that goes over the turn table doesnt stay up by itself as I think the spring might be done, but its never been right so Im not sure how it originally should have been, it can be removed by sliding it out of the slots. It isnt sold with speakers. Many of the front buttons (Tape, Phono, FM, ON) wont click and stay in place, the Phono button never has, Ive just always used a bit of card to wedge it in place. Ive only ever used this for playing records, Ive been happy to persevere with its issues because I love the way it sounds, but it does need a really good refurb and some TLC from someone that has the time and more know how than me. Sold with the original manuals.Buyer collects ideally, but if its not possible, let me know and well see if we can make something work. Thanks for looking.
