Bang and Olufsen Beosystem, Beogram 4500 Turntable. This is a lovely tangential arm turntable which has the RIAAbuilt in amplifier and integrates with the 4500 Bang and Olufsen range ofother separates (I have the Beomaster and the Beocord in the range also up forsale on separate listings) It works faultlessly with all of its features working, as you can seethe 33 and 45 illuminate to show the rpm, and the indexing light illuminateswhen the step key is used to step through the record, the motor runs quietlyand the platter spins up to speed nice and quickly, with no apparent belt slip It comes with a Soundsmith SMMC4 cartridge, I’m not too sure how strongthe cantilever suspension is, but it looks slightly low, but playswell……I’ve tried to capture a couple of images of the ride height. There are a couple of blemishes on the stainless steel top…..the righthand side has a small ding in it, which I’ve tried to show, and the left handside has a couple of small scratches, again shown in the images The Perspex cover shows the normal very light swirl marks consistentwith polishing.
