B&O Beosystem 1800. Bought in early 1978 and used lovingly by me ever since. Have connected various devices (cassette, cd, Logitech squeezebox) over the years, but lure of multi-room streaming and the system starting to show some problems means the time has come for me to retire it.
Its now running very hot, there is a hum from the left channel, which isnt a problem when playing loud rock music, but is a bit intrusive on quiet tracks.
I cant guarantee the quality of the MMC20S cartridge. It sounds ok, but you should probably check it before committing any of your beloved vinyl to it.
It does work. This is why I have advertised it as used rather than spares or repair. But it will need some work to return it to good condition.
This item is collection only as it is both heavy and hard to package up securely to protect it.
