Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 3000 ‘Large Clamper’ (Final Version of this model) CD Player with AM/FM Radio.

The beautiful and timeless classic from Bang & Olufsen featuring the famous ‘sliding doors’. The story goes that David Lewis (the designer) was looking for ideas but couldn’t find inspiration. He left the office to get some fresh air, have a walk to clear his head, then come back to his desk and carry on. Upon returning and entering the building he walked through some sliding doors – and that was his inspiration for what is now a modern classic in AV design…
This is the latest and final version of the 3000, featuring the oversized ‘large’ clamper which hid the spinning CD in a more discrete fashion. It also had the more up-to-date satin finish aluminium fascia which gave it a more modern look. Either way, this is an absolute design classic from the masters of AV design – Bang & Olufsen.
Condition : Absolutely beautiful as you can clearly see. Having had one private owner from brand new and sitting on a high shelf away from paws, claws and sticky fingers it’s barely been touched, and as such looks beautiful. I’m sure you’ll be absolutely delighted with it. 🙂
Functionality : Fully bench tested and working faultlessly. Everything functions exactly as it should.
