BOWERS & WILKINS 684 FLOORSTANDING STEREO SPEAKERS
It’s surprising how often this range of speakers are offered for sale with the aluminium dome tweeters squashed in, the sellers assuring prospective purchasers that this “makes no difference to the sound.”
Fortunately there are absolutely no issues with this pair, with no damage to the drive units or the cabinets. They are in fact in excellent condition, the only defect being one or two tiny “dings” on the plinths, which are barely noticeable.
This model enjoys an excellent reputation for sound quality, having been a five star best buy in “What HiFi” for many years until succeeded by the series 2 version. It has very good bass extension which can be fine tuned for room acoustics with the included foam port bungs.

Some couriers will not take boxes this size and weight, but if you cannot collect you are welcome to arrange your own courier. They vary considerably on cost so this gives you the flexibility to choose the service which suits you and the level of insurance cover you require. They will leave here properly packed and sealed and in the condition as described and my responsibility will end when they are collected. if issues arise during transit they must be taken up with the courier.
