All excellent condition, working superbly, and from a smoke-free home. Soft-start, plus real-time valve auto-biasing on all units, a feature not found on most valve systems. The VK60 has 4,6,8 OHM loudspeaker taps to work with all kinds of loudspeakers, and with a response of 7Hz – 70Khz. Each 6c33cb power valve has a green LED by it and if a valve is faulty there is an associated fuse which will switch out that valve, and the individual light turns off. Note: Each amp does generate a fair bit of heat.You have a tonally real, totally unfatiguing sound, incredibly detailed yet without the slightest trace of harshness, a combination that’s very hard to achieve, within a 3d soundstage. The BAT’s have a natural organic sound, along with absolute precision, transparency and ‘air’. Get a huge amount of listening pleasure from these beasts, exquisitely made and engineered. Sorry to lose these – I’m having to downsize living space. Will not separate any of this listing – sold as a complete system package and this also includes 57 spare valves: I used to change whole sets every 2 years, not heavy use either, and so there are: 6x Sovtek 6c33cb. 26x Electro-Harmonix Sovtek 6922. 2x Sylvania 6sn7 type with 4x Electro Harmonix 6sn7. 4x Tesla E88cc Gold Pin with Flying Swords. 4x Electro Harmonix 6922. 9x Tesla E88cc and 2x Sovtek 5881, plus full sets currently installed in the system as in the photos, which is another 24 valves to add to the 57 = Total 81 Valves. I will also include the 2 steel silver crackle finish power amp stands pictured, along with a box of glass shelves that fit in these hi-fi racks, originally 250.00 each.
Included is some original packaging, + original manuals + some original BAT catalogues, BAT printed info sheets, reviews.
