This is an auction for a very good used pair of Audiomaster MLS-1 speakers. They are small speakers, only a little larger than the BBC LS3/5A. They were designed by Robin Marshall, an ex BBC engineer, for KJ Leisuresound who later designed speakers for Monitor Audio and also founded Epos Acoustics.As I understand it, the MLS-1 was designed as a high quality but cheaper alternative to the BBC LS3/5a.
I have included a scan of a contemporary Hi-Fi Choice review which shows just how highly regarded these speakers were.

In generally excellent condition, the cabinets are near mint and the best I have ever seen for a pair of speakers of this age. The undersides have minor marks where they have been moved on and off of stands over the years.
I understand these are not as desirable, valuable or collectable as the BBC LS3/5A, but having had the opportunity to compare these to the LS3/5A in my opinion these are superior.
