An award-winning DAC from British audio company Audiolab which will transform any digital audio signal. It features 1 x digital optical and 1 x digital coaxial inputs, along with a USB input for connection to a computer. There are also optical, coaxial and analogue outputs. There is a cd for drivers for Windows computers and a front panel full size headphone socket (with independent volume control). A range of digital filters are available via the front panel, which also displays input and sample level. Because volume control is possible this DAC can be used directly into active speakers or a power amp, therefore working as a digital pre-amp. The unit is highly customisable and a comprehensive manual is supplied to aid set-up as necessary.
This bundle also includes the following cables which were not originally supplied: 2 x RCA by ‘Precious Metal Cables Alpha with CopperTech AirTight Plugs’ for analogue output to an amplifier; 1 x coaxial digital; 1 x USB – please see photos.
