This extremely high resolution DAC ensures outstanding levels of detail and note definition. A discrete master clock produces extremely low levels of jitter, so reducing distortion for a more natural, less harsh sound. Finally, the Class A, discrete and balanced output stage helps give the sound body, depth and power.
USB port and PC or Mac control
With optical, coaxial and USB inputs, the 8200CD is more than a CD player. Pretty much any digital source, such as TV or games console, with a digital output can have its sound improved by being connected into the 8200CD. So, it’s not just a class-leading CD player, but also an unbeatable DAC for the rest of your system. The USB port is ideal for connecting your PC or Mac, and any PC or Mac media player, such as iTunes, can be controlled via the Audiolab’s remote control.
Tailored sound
As we all prefer slightly different nuances of sound quality, the 8200CD comes with Audiolab’s selectable filter system. Select from four different filters to find your ideal sound.
