The audiolab 8000px is an outstanding high end power amplifier that personifies British Hi-fi design.
100w per channel output
Amazing power, outstanding sound quality and purity of output. Rock solid build quality, ultra reliable.
I used this amplifier for a few years but upgraded to its bigger brother the 8000mx.
This amplifier is not the much loved 8000p that was produced by audiolab for many years it is the upgraded, superior model the 8000px.
This amplifier will work nicely with another audiolab 8000 amplifier as they all have the same gain. I used it for a while to drive the bass section with an audiolab 8000s on treble duties and they matched perfectly.
Audiolab 8000 amplifiers were used in the what hi-fi demo system that was used to test other components for many years owing to their transparency, flexibility and ability to drive pretty much anything.
This amplifier is in very good overall condition. There are a few marks on the top, but nothing that will show when its installed into a rack.
