Audio Linear TD-4001 Turntable in Excellent Condition. Boxed with original instructions.
These beautiful turntables were made in the 1970s golden age of hi-fi. The styling was clearly influenced by Michell/Transcriptors, but the deck was engineered in Belgium and produced in Spain. They drew many favourable reviews at the time, for the sound as well as the looks.
Excellent working order and quiet running: speeds have been tested with a strobe and are accurate and stable.
For 220-240V 50Hz (UK/Europe) and fitted with a UK plug.
No tonearm supplied (it has a SME-ready fitting)
Lovely clean cosmetic condition, including a beautifully clear acrylic lid. Please remember that it is a used item and there are a few small marks. This includes a 1cm area of light scratches to the plinth (see photo 11). Overall though it is excellent.
It will come carefully packed in the original Audio Linear box and inserts, with lid and platter removed and packed separately. This will then be double boxed.
These rarely come up for sale so are difficult to value. For this reason there is a low start price and no reserve.

Collection is very welcome. However, I am also happy to pack the plinth carefully and ship to the UK and EU countries.
