Purchased new in 1998, this was a much loved and well looked after CD player. The outer casing and facia show few signs of use or age.
After a few years in storage it was recently discovered that the CD tray is no longer functioning. The brown plastic cog in the tray mechanism has become brittle over time and lost its teeth (see close up photo).
